Yin and restorative yoga both incorporate longer held poses allowing you to slow down from the busy-ness of day to day life.

The longer held poses increase mobility and flexibility, and the pace of the class can promote feelings of calm, and help reduce stress and anxiety, as you find stillness and let go. In each pose there is nowhere to be and you need to be doing or thinking – we can practice the art taking our time and just being.

In restorative classes we use bolsters, blankets and props to offer more support to your body in these poses.
