We were lucky enough to be in the company of the beautiful Maria last weekend who sang us this song. It felt like a gift - a frozen moment in time that we will always remember and hold dear. There were tears, goosebumps and shivers - complete awe and silence for this lovely lady and her song.

Incorporating ankle weights into your yoga, PIlates or barre practice is a fabulous way to add some resistance and build more strength in your low body, giving yourself a wee booty lift 🍑. As importantly using resistance in this way helps me stay present and aware, moving more mindfully.
Here’s some ideas for adding into your practice
1. Pilates peeps add to your side series, bridge exercises and swimming. The side series has so many (challenging) options targeting hips and butt!
2. I like adding to vinyasa flow to build awareness, challenge balance and to remind me to switch on glutes and stay active and mindful in lower body whilst building strength
3 tbh barre with weights is just evil but the kind of nasty we all love. I felt the burn 🔥 on this one really quickly. It’s important to make sure you are extending hips and using glutes rather than lifting from your low back!
